Space Coast Beaches
Florida’s Space Coast’s coastline goes on for 72 miles and has a variety of beaches you need to visit. The Canaveral National Seashore has beautiful sand dunes. The Sebastian Inlet State Recreation Area to the south is considered to be one of the best surfing alone the East Coast, and it’s a lot of fun for the whole family.
Port Canaveral’s Jetty Park is the place to watch 4,000 cruise ships and cargo ships as they pass by. There are about 14 miles of beaches south of the port, and support local wildlife such as sea turtles, birds and other aquatic life. You might also want to check out Coca Beach, Satellite Beach, Melbourne Beach and Canova Beach Park.
Boating and Fishing
The Space Coast has many boating and fishing opportunities, with access to the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian River Lagoon and the Intercostal Waterway. There are 72 miles of Atlantic Ocean Coastlines where you are able to see dolphins, manatees, tubing, skiing, waterboarding.
There are also sandy inlets where you can camp, picnic, BBQ and swimming. Plus there are lots of great restaurants with boat slips. The Space Coast offer year round fishing from Mosquito Lagoon and Sebastian Inlet.
