Melbourne Orlando International is a public airport 1.5 miles (2.4 km) northwest of downtown Melbourne, in Brevard County, Florida, United States, and 50 miles southeast of Orlando Florida. Formerly known as Orlando Melbourne International Airport, the airport is located on central Florida’s Space Coast. Most international and domestic travelers embarking on a cruise from Port Canaveral choose to transfer to their hotel/residence and transfer to Port Canaveral the next day. We also recommend arriving 1 day before your cruise departs lest you can’t make it in time due to a flight delay or some other inconvenience.
