Trip Logistics: Distance & Timing

Planning your morning is critical on embarkation day. Here is what you need to know:

Other Cruise Lines: Recommended pickup around 11:00 AM (Royal/Carnival/Norwegian).

Distance & Drive Time: ~68 miles / 70–80 minutes (via FL-528).

Buffer Time: Add 20 minutes for weekends or Space Center launches.

Disney Cruise Line Pickup: 90 minutes before your assigned “Port Arrival Time.”

FAQs for Disney World to/from Port Canaveral

When is a good time to book my transfer?

We recommend booking as soon as your cruise and airfare are confirmed. Many clients book 6 months in advance. While we accept last-minute bookings, availability is not guaranteed.

When do you charge me?

We require a valid credit card to hold the reservation, but we typically charge you on the day of your actual service.

Do you provide car seats? Is there a fee?

Yes, we provide complimentary car seats upon request. Florida law requires children under 5 to be secured. Please request these at least 24 hours in advance.

We are staying at two different resorts. Can you do a split pickup?

Yes. We can pick up from multiple Disney locations. There is a $15 extra charge for each additional stop. Please let us know the order of pickup when booking.

Can you drop half our party at the Airport and the rest at Disney?

Absolutely. On the return trip, we can make a stop at MCO Airport before taking the rest of the group to a Disney or Universal resort. There is a $25 extra charge for this additional drop-off.

Where will my driver meet me at Port Canaveral?
  • Disney Terminal: Same lane as drop-off.
  • Royal Caribbean: Under the parking garage, outside the exit doors.
  • Carnival: Designated private limo pickup area (to the left upon exiting).
How early can you pick us up from the ship?

Disembarkation usually starts around 7:00 AM (Disney/Royal/Norwegian) or 8:00 AM (Carnival). We can schedule your pickup as early as you need.
